Good Samaritans

But a certain Samaritan who was traveling that way came upon him, and when he saw him, his heart was filled with pity.” (Luke 10:33).  Provide acts of love and kindness toward those who suffer tragedy or sudden loss – those in need of helping hands as they recover and heal.

The aim of this ministry is to offer immediate and supporting care for families that have experienced sudden loss of spouse or home due to accident, weather, fire or violence.

By its nature, this is an ad hoc ministry that takes shape when and as circumstances demand.

  • Establish and maintain list of people who the Parish can rely for any number of charitable outreach tasks.  For example preparing a meal, mowing a lawn, running an errand, etc. (the list is endless).
  • Institute procedures for parish office to alert the ministry in the event of a request for aid.
