We the AfterMass Youth Group of St. Julian Eymard Parish, believe that the smallest things can make the biggest difference. In addition to service in our parish, we work to help the community through our Catholic service by helping those who can’t help themselves and leading by example. Through our work and active participation in the Liturgy, we seek to be the presence of God in the lives of those around us. We do this not to seek recognition for ourselves but rather to put Jesus first, others second and our own needs last. We do all this with a joyful heart and have a lot fun while we’re at it!
We hold regular meetings including one usually held on the third Sunday of each month (but watch our list of activities list on the website for any changes in this schedule!). Our Peer Ministers meet with the Adult Team members to plan events and activities. In addition to assisting at Mass, we donate our time and strength to many important projects throughout the year, including the Parish Block Party, the School of Religion Summer Enrichment Program, Kids Christmas Film Night and various charitable service projects, including regular visits to the local senior assisted living facility, Alexian Village and trips to other organizations such as Feed My Starving Children, Packages for Patriots and most notably, the Catholic Heart Work Camp Mission Trip held for one week in June each year! We also invite you to join us for lots of fun on game nights, the Enchanted Castle Lock-In in early February and other fun stuff throughout the year. Check out our current list of activities! Won’t you come join us? You’ll be glad you did!
