HELP NEEDED FOR ONE OF OUR PARISHIONERS! – Saturday, January, 2019
We’ve received a request to help one of our parishioners who is suffering from cancer. One of our parishioner families has to move out of their home due to the toll this disease has taken and they need help clearing the place out. Specifically, they need assistance with land and material clearing as well as help packing up boxes for an eventual sale and moving things out. This is the type of project we do at the work camp except it’s needed right here in our own back yard! While anyone can volunteer to assist at any time they are available, the youth group is currently targeting a Saturday in January 2019 for this job. Can you please help? Contact Mr. Van for further details.

Catholic Heart Work Camp Mission Trip - Next year’s destination: NASHVILLE, TN (June 23-28, 2019)
Every year our AfterMass!Youth Group takes a trip to Catholic Heart Work Camp in the summer usually in June. In 2019, by popular vote, we are headed to NASHVILLE, TN from June 23 to June 28, 2019. The Catholic Heart Work Camp has a two-fold mission: To share the love of Jesus and serve the neglected, brokenhearted and marginalized in any way needed. The Catholic Heart Work Camp mission is to revitalize communities and beautify homes for the elderly, disabled and those who cannot afford needed repairs. Our goal is to inspire participants to serve in their local communities. The second part is to empower participants to live as disciples of Christ through serving others and to foster the spiritual growth of each participant through the sacraments, Catholic faith sharing and prayer. Those attending the camp will also attend the 5:30 p.m. Mass on the previous Saturday evening of the trip at which a special blessing will be given to all our campers before we leave the following morning. Our registration for the trip is currently open and there are spots available for a limited time! If you’d like to go, contact Mr. Van via email to sign up, to ask any questions about our 2019 CHWC MISSION TRIP or if you simply want to get involved in youth ministry!!
